The circulation statistics from my school’s library provide strong evidence that the RC system has boosted our check out rates. Between 2004-2008 we have not substantially changed the curriculum of the school nor have the number of students on campus changed. Yet a huge increase in the check out rate coincides with the introduction of the Reading Counts system. See chart above.
